Pendoley Environmental are looking forward to another season of monitoring marine turtles at Barrow Island this summer. Now entering its second decade, the project, comprising a suite of up to 10 individual programs run every year, is operated on behalf of Chevron Australia and showcases a highly successful and productive collaboration with Industry.

The world-class, award-winning program at Barrow Island provides the information needed to assess compliance with the Ministerial Conditions of approval for the project, provides valuable data for marine science, and offers an opportunity for up to 72 volunteers each year to gain hands-on experience in field techniques for monitoring marine turtles in an industrial setting.
